Printing and using the tasting sheet

How many copies should I print?

Print one sheet for each person for each whiskey: four guests comparing three bottles need 12 sheets. Keep the bottle names hidden until the reveal if you are tasting blind.

Is this a whiskey or whisky tasting sheet?

Both spellings describe what this sheet helps you record. The prompts work for your own notes on bourbon, rye, Scotch, and other whiskies; the 100-point score is your preference, not an official grading system.

What paper and print settings should I use?

The PDF is one US Letter page. Check the print preview before printing the whole group’s copies. Use your printer’s fit-to-page option if you need to print on a different paper size.

Do I need the paid kit to use it?

No. The free sheet is complete and can be downloaded without an email address. The optional $9 Tasting Night Kit adds planning worksheets, labels, a host script, and a reveal board. Personal, non-commercial use applies to the free PDF.

Next: choose a tasting pour size and use the free bottle calculator to plan quantities.
